I noticed one of the apprentices putting silicone to cover the bolt heads. I assume it’s to protect the bolt from corrosion. One of the techs here said it’s a pain to remove to get access to the bolt head. I’ve never seen this before so I thought I would ask for more input before saying anything. The pads on our buses are changed yearly. Comments
