Nothing too bad. All you need to do is replace the seat covers. |

I know, but it's just terrible how they could ever end up like that in the first place |

Actually those are just superior seats so they can be replaced with no problem. IC-RE that is a Delamr Keas body, they were what many of us call the after 85 superiors. they were the strongest heaviest bus around, just not many were sold so they were only made for 1 year. |

Thats actually not true Alex. They made them for more than 1 year. This topic has already been talked about (the Delmar Keas and Superior story), I'm just not sure where it was posted (I know it was posted multiple times). I dunno if they are the "strongest body" or not. |

The Delmar Keas' Superior era began in '85 with the production of buses in Chickasha, OK. Initially the old style Superiors were produced but in 1986 the all new boxy DK Superior was introduced. By 1988 Delmar lost the rights to produce the conventional Superior bus and a new company called The New Bus Company began production of the conventional at the same facility in Chickasha. The bus was then called the "Chickasha" and transit models were added. The New Bus Company discontinued the conventional after a very short time and went out of business within a couple of years. That's a long story made short. |
